Olympiapark in Munich is a popular tourist destination and offers a variety of attractions and activities. And it’s really quite a cool place to visit with family and kids. We were just the two of us but felt the childish emotions take over us. And when it’s gleeful delight, the ice-cream stall is our frequent destination. Come and feel how good is Olympiapark Munich visit on a sunny afternoon apart from the ice-cream.

Best way to reach Olympiapark

We had an early breakfast at our hotel Holiday Inn Express in Munich North, took a bus and then U Bahn to Central station. Just outside as you go up the elevator is the BigBus Tours CitySightseeing hop-on-hop-off counter at Karlsplatz/Stachus, Stadtrundfahrt for exchanging your online tickets. This location is also the start point for both the Green line and Orange line.

We exchanged our tickets and boarded the Orange route bus which takes you to Olympiapark. The journey was quite pleasant as we passed by the headquarters of O2, the broadband, landline and mobile telecom provider, parks, canals and many landmarks.

You could book your Big Bus tickets or check out thousands of other tours to pick from in Munich on Travelwisesr Holidays. The other option is to use the vast underground rapid transit network of U-Bahn to reach Olympiapark. Buy your tickets online on MVV.
