It was a call from one of my teammates from the past and it was so nice speaking to her after a long time. After a bit of chit-chat, she extended me an invitation to be in her city. To address her team of beauty and wellness brand partners in northeast India and motivate them during their reward & recognition ceremony. Their organization Oriflame, one of the top beauty, skincare and wellness leaders of the world. The venue of the event and my stay was at Arista by Ambition, a brand-new property in the heart of Guwahati.
Arista by Ambition is the newest 5* property of Guwahati located on GS Road, the most happening part of the city. The first impression was nice as I walked into the hotel. The check-in took a little bit of time as the reception executives searched for the best Club Room to upgrade me to. And the room was really nice and big facing the pool area. Freshened up quickly and was soon on my way to the seventh floor for the Oriflame event.

Oriflame has been in the Indian market since the mid-nineties and their products are loved by users all around the country. The pillars behind this success have been their dedicated brand partners and the passionate employees of the organization.
The event was to recognize and reward the top 15 of the region and branch in northeast India. And also to announce the May catalogue and the Reward & Recognition for the current year. As you can expect it was an afternoon full of fun, applause, music, celebrations and happiness. With a bit of experience sharing and thoughts on leadership, building teams and achieving success from my end.

A good hotel becomes amazing when the people managing it decide to care for guests from their heart. And then it shows on their faces and their smiles.
So here are four of them from Arista who made my stay so special. Trisnakhi and Santosh at the reception. Kartik the super-efficient bell boy and Abhijit the young smiling housekeeping guy who was so nice to talk to. The overall experience at Arista was very pleasing and would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and Travelwisesr guests.
It was time to bid Guwahati Goodbye after breakfast but then when you leave any state of northeast you always carry back a memory if you are here for a program and are being felicitated. The hand-woven scarf of the state for you is an age-old tradition in this part of the country. This time for me this lovely ‘Gamucha’ of Assam.
