When you arrive at Berlin airport anytime throughout the day or evening be prepared to wait. If you have checked in baggage just pray it arrives soon. We arrived from Athens and had booked a prepaid cab but it left after waiting for an hour as is their norm. Our two pieces arrived two hours later yet we were glad that it finally did. Went out of the terminal, took a cab and set off for our hotel in the city center. And once there we realized why Berlin City Center stay is great.
Our accommodation
I loved this place the moment I saw it. But the dates we were looking for was sold out on Booking.com. We hadn’t launched our own travel booking website Travelwisesr Holidays then. So I got in touch with the owner of this lovely property with a feel of being at home. Right in the heart of the city center on Wittenbergplatz. And we quite loved the red carpet welcome to Hotel Pension Classic.

A good small accommodation that really makes you happy are invariably owned by happy people. And so has been our experience from the time I first got in touch with the man who owns this place. Mr. Evgeni Rapoport. Very prompt in communications, he is a thorough gentleman and with this sweet welcome smile. What I also loved about the reception area was the jar with the candies and I picked a few as we checked in.
