Having stayed in Asia all along, it’s a shame that there are only four countries that I have set my foot on in the continent till date. Apart from India of course where we live. When countries started opening up after the dreaded lock-down period, it was Vietnam which was the first to welcome travelers. As we were putting our plans in place came the shocker. My mom was seriously ill again and all thoughts of travel vanished out of the window. It is finally time to plan again and this is what it looks like. A complete guide to the best way to plan for Vietnam.

Well for a change this plan is not mine but have just put it down. It’s a plan based on the personal travel experience of Vishnu Patro my buddy from college & university days who is just back after a 2 week tour. Almost all the photographs here have been clicked by him as well. Apart from being a passionate traveler he is also a painter, chef & photographer par excellence. Check out his creations and clicked moments and enjoy the journey.

Travel Tips

This plan is for 2 weeks with 5 nights each in Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh and 4 nights in Hoi An (Da Nang). However you can revise the itinerary to reduce or increase the number of days to suit your own plans. For traveling between the cities of Hanoi, Hoi An & Ho Chi Minh, flights are the cheapest and fastest options. But Vietnam by train gives you the opportunity to check out the beautiful countryside, thereby adding a new dimension to your holidays.
However if you wish to add destinations like Phong Nha, Ninh Binh or Sapa, book your train & Bus tickets here on 12Go
