After a week of being on the road exploring, our days in Stockholm have been till now one of complete relaxation and just enjoying the unspoiled beauty of nature. Do hope you too have equally enjoyed the journey with us. We love doing what we love and so today let’s venture out to experience some more of this wonderful gift, nature. And that’s something you would find in abundance in this Swedish capital. The green, the blue sky, the different shades of water, the colorful vibrant islands and so much more. And Peace. On our trip today to Drottningholm Palace.
The Journey

Our peace journey continues. And today we start from, next to this renowned landmark, The Stockholm City Hall. The City hall stands on the eastern tip of Kungsholmen island, next to Riddarfjarden’s northern shore and facing the islands of Riddarholmen and Sodermaim. It houses offices and conference rooms as well as ceremonial halls, and the luxury restaurant Stadshuskällaren. It is the venue of the Nobel prize and is one of Stockholm‘s major tourist attractions. It also has a souvenir shop for you to take back, your fond memories.

As we wait to get on with this exciting journey, it’s not a bad idea to treat ourselves to some ice cream. Anytime is ice cream time because we all love it, there is no special occasion required and they come in so many varieties and flavors. And so the little wait not really felt, we board. Eager to see what memories we get back with us.
And there among us was this creator, Philip. Creating memories of a lifetime.

Here is what he created. Have a look. It’s these little but beautiful memories which last a lifetime.

As we moved further enjoying what we saw, we got sight of this beautiful masterpiece. We knew we had arrived.

The Palace

Drottningholm Palace. The peace abode.

Time to go out and experience some more of nature. Experience peace. A small bit of information though, before we move on. You could reach this place by your own private transport or public buses too, but we chose the water route as this seemed far more exciting.

Drottningholm, you mesmerized us with your beauty. And when it was time to leave, the head said yes but the heart kept saying no. But life must move on and so does our journey in search of the new.
Hope you loved the journey. PIN it for later and for friends !!
