After a day of complete relaxation and continuing my Goa holidays with ‘Pinnacle Holiday Homes’, I was on the move again. This time heading to a happening destination on Bogmalo beach. For my fun stay at SWINg! By The Bay.

Goa has a rich heritage of locally produced spirits & one of Asia’s top award-winning mixologist has created a signature menu that showcases #GoaInaGlass, an awesome range of cocktails. Travelers can experience Goa’s best liquors & liqueurs with delicious recipes that use Madam rosa, Desmondji, Cabo & more. And I was so happy to be right there next to this exciting den of mine for the next two days, which promised to offer all of this and so much more.

Located five kilometers from Goa Airport, SWINg! By The Bay is a cozy guesthouse managed by a dedicated team of professionals. It has four well appointed spacious rooms with a balcony and is situated around hundred meters from Bogmalo beach. Some of the rooms offer a partial view of the sea and others a lovely view of Bogmalo village. SWINg! houses a 50-seater bar & bistro, serving traditional Malabari cuisine from Kerala & an American menu to choose from. Come let’s move to our room through the restaurant.

This place does not offer breakfast but there are few options just a few minutes walk away, near the beach. After settling down in my room and a self made coffee later, I was down in the restaurant for my lunch. And I chose an American menu of a Chicken burger with fries and this lovely cocktail.

Then it was time to head towards the beach as it was nearing early evening.
Bogmalo is a small beach-side village in Goa. Despite its small size, Bogmalo has a range of accommodation and places to eat. It is situated in a small bay, with around a mile of curving sandy beach, which is generally very quiet and deserted. It benefits from some beautiful sunsets.

Come let’s experience the sunset from one of the beachfront bar/restaurants with a cold bottle of Kingfisher beer, the symbol of Goa in hand. I am loving it and am sure you would love it too.

I was back to my room to spend some relaxing moments till it was time for dinner. This time it had to be a choice for me from the vast options from the Kerala cuisine menu. It took be back years, to the days I used to visit Kochi, then known as Cochin, for my professional work. I chose this Kerala dish for the night.

Next morning I got up early to head towards the beach and spend some relaxing time in the sea followed by my breakfast in a small restaurant. There are a few other shops too in the village center near the beach selling souvenirs, beach wear, sun cream, cigarettes, snacks and some basic groceries in addition to the shack restaurants on the beach. Come let’s enjoy the morning and the dip.

After a relaxing morning I ventured out to meet a friend in Saligao who owns the best villas spread across Goa. It was a lovely afternoon spent over an equally wonderful lunch with him. More about these properties later as I head back to Bogmalo to spend the evening catching up with another friend I made during this trip. And the one who co-owns this jivey place, SWINg! By The Bay.
As I go down to the restaurant after freshening up to meet Mohit, have a look at this beautifully done up place.

It was a wonderful evening spent with Mohit over a few drinks. Knowing more about him, his wife Arshi who co-owns the place, their family and the thought behind the cuisine that they decided to offer, when they launched this Bistro. And my dinner? Here it is.

Looks and sounds exciting? Well I can vouch for some great time that you can have with your family. Mohit & Arshi have some exciting plans for the near future. They are soon starting a brand new SWINg! By The Bay in another exciting location. To spend an unforgettable holiday in Goa coupled with gastronomical delight, do get in touch with them.
